Meet Bacardi! She's not my foster dog, but I wouldn't be mad if she was! This little peanut is one of the most calm and sweet dogs I've ever met. She's listed as around 2 years old, a mix of a yorkie and maltese. She's so friendly; she quietly greeted me at the door and let me scoop her up and cuddle her right away.
She's very well-behaved (pretty much housebroken) and loves to be with people. Her little nose is scraped up from rubbing against the metal of the cage/kennel during her transport and at the shelter before she was foster. Poor lady! She doesn't like being crated, but it's no problem leaving her out with her foster family since she's so good.
She's already learned her name, but honestly "Bacardi" doesn't really suit her. She's not a party girl, so I bet whoever adopts her will find a more sweet and softspoken name for her. Also, I should mention that despite her pretty long hair, she barely sheds at all.
I just put a hold on this girl. I can't wait to meet her. I think I may want to foster dogs in the future... it would be great to meet you and hear your story... thank you for all you do..
ReplyDeleteOh Cathy, we love this girl. She is such a dear. If you have any questions about Bacardi just ask me.
