More Props To My Boy Rusty

Many of the shops on my street allow dogs to come in. Often, if I'm not sure, I just ask and they usually say yes. A couple weeks ago Rusty came xmas shopping and 3 separate shop-clerks commented that they couldn't believe how well-behaved the dog was. He just quietly follows me around, doesn't get into things or bark.

That coal black nose and white belly are too much to handle. Rusty is somewhere between 7 and 18 months old, but I think he'll have that cute puppy face forever. He's such a smushy guy.
 That face. Stop it.

My friend Emma wants to adopt Rusty, but she lives in Portland so it's not allowed. She gave him a mohawk to demonstrate her affection. Rusty doesn't really shed at all so styling his hair is easy.

Last week over Christmas, I got to visit little Skip. Rusty and Skip hit it off and even fell asleep in a pile together after wrestling for a couple of hours. Skip is so happy in his new home, but he did remember me thank God.
My happiest moment

  2. That looks like a nice cat tree Rusty is lounging under. They make a Mad Cat salsa out here in Pacific NW.
