This little biscuit-eater Jolie is still looking for a home. I'm surprised she hasn't been scooped up yet, given her track record: housebroken, low shedder, good with dogs, happy spirit, pretty eyes, soft fur, general cuteness.
Check out these previous posts to see her prancing around and have your heart melted. Unless you're a Grinch and that's a bad business to be in this time of year. Let's get her adopted before Thanksgiving. If you adopt her you win, and you'll have something to be thankful for when that awkward go-around-the-table routine happens!
What a cutie! I have a fluffy dog who could be her twin, but white and tan. I was wondering if she has a strong prey drive? Mine is part beagle and goes nuts for squirrels on walks so i'm not sure how walks would go if Jolie does as well. Does she bark at other dogs?
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah! Glad you asked. When I took Jolie for a walk, she was a joy. I asked her foster mom to comment, here's what she had to say: Jolie is a friendly dog and gets along well with other dogs but doesn't always meet them well on a leash. Generally, going for a walk with her is a pleasure. She usually keeps a better pace than Bowser, because he has his nose to the ground. Jolie ignores other dogs on walks. We live in Madison, there are many dogs out, and I usually cross the street, rather than have my dogs encounter another big dog. Seems safer for all.
DeleteDoes she have a prey drive? When in the fenced in yard, I have seen her try to dig herself out just once when chasing a rabbit. Inside the house she may threaten a rabbit or squirrel by jumping against low windows and screens. She is not a barker. I cannot describe her voice, because I rarely hear it. If you have any other questions, ask me. I enjoy talking about Jolie.

DeleteI would say Jolie has a medium energy level. She is more energetic than my 4 year old poodle mix. I think she is young and seems puppy-like. She is curious, fun, and easy breezy. She is capable of a fast outdoor run, then settles down to a slower indoor pace. She sleeps quietly all night. Jolie cuddles on the couch when we watch TV. Belly rubs are her favorite things!
